2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards: BTS receives 2 nominations
K-pop band BTS has received two nominations for the 2020 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards!
On February 13, 2020, the nominations for Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were announced and here’s a piece of good news for all the BTS Army, this year, the K-Pop boy band has scored two nominations. Yes, you read it right! They are nominated alongside Fall Out Boy, Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5, Panic! At The Disco, and The Chainsmokers.
The global sensation BTS is also nominated for the Favorite Global Music Star award as the Asian nominee, with fellow nominees including Dua Lipa (UK), J Balvin (Latin America), Rosalía (Europe), Sho Madjozi (Africa), Taylor Swift (North America), and Tones and I (Australia).
In 2018, the boy band BTS won the Favorite Global Music Star award at the Kids’ Choice Awards.
So far, the boy band has released three tracks from their forthcoming album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7’: “Shadow,” “Black Swan,” and “Ego.” The music video of the lead single is scheduled to be released on February 28 and “Black Swan” hit the first spot on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 93 different sections —breaking their own record.
BTS has been on quite the roll recently. They became the 1st South Korean Band to perform at The Grammys when they joined Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus to perform Old Town Road. BTS has promised that their album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7’ will exceed the ARMY’s expectations.
Talking about the award show, this year, Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards will be televised live on March 22 at 7:30 p.m. local time on Nickelodeon.
