BTS is riding high on the success of their recent album Map Of The Soul 7. It is a major hit and much loved by fans. We have seen the bonds of friendship the group shares with each other. They also love to pull each other’s legs and their friendly banter leaves the ARMY’s more in love with them.
It is no secret that the BTS members are quite rich thanks to their music. But they do not like blowing money, especially Jungkook.
On the February 23 episode of ‘Shin Yang Nam Show’, BTS joined as the very first guest. During the talk, MC Jang Do Yeon asked which member doesn’t open their wallet often. SUGA first answered, “Jungkook definitely doesn’t pay often.”

But Jungkook did not agree with Suga’s statement and shared his side of the statement. It so happened that when Jungkook graduated, everyone went to eat. Jungkook decided to pay for this meal, as it was his graduation. But he left each and everyone in a shock as he revealed he revealed how much he spent on that meal.
He said, “I graduated from high school not too long ago. Do you know how you ate jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) after graduation? Well, do you know how much that cost? It was 910,000 KRW (approximately $804 USD).”

Suga shared some more details about Jungkook’s tendencies. He said that Jungkook doesn’t even consider paying, as he just hilariously assumes that his hyungs will pay for him.
SUGA said, “Whenever I eat with Jungkook, I try to pay for it since I’m the hyung. But you know, you can do some action (pretending to pay) but he just says, ‘Thanks for the food‘.”
Jin also shared a story on how Jungkook borrowed some money from him but repaid uniquely. Jin added, “I let Jungkook borrow my card not too long ago but he never paid me back. He told me that the food he bought me from before evens it out.”
There are many such funny stories that the group loves to share with their fans.
