Jimin — a singer, dancer and songwriter — who debuted as a member of one of the most popular South Korean boys band, BTS in 2013, have charted yet another milestone of garnering more than 80 million streams on Spotify. Yes, Jimin’s first masterpiece titled ‘LIE’ has reportedly surpassed 80 million streams on Spotify. The song was written and composed by none other than BTS member Jimin.
His first masterpiece LIE was released in BTS second studio album ‘Wings’ back in 2016. ‘LIE’ was described as stunning and dramatic which conveyed dark undertones and emotions that helped to reflect the overall concept of the album. LIE surpassed 60 million streams on Spotify in January 2019 making it the first BTS solo song to hit that milestone. In next four-month, LIE got yet another 10 million streams and now it has surpassed 80 million streams on popular online music streaming app.
In April 2019, Jimin’s LIE along with ‘Serendipity’ was listed among the most popular BTS songs in the UK according to BTS’s Top 40 biggest song in the UK.
