BTS boys are celebrating the success of their Bang Bang Con on YouTube. As per reports, around 50 million fans tuned into the Bang Bang Con to stream past BTS concerts on YouTube. However, they have a lot more to share with their fans. BTS’ official fan platform WeVerse announced the upcoming release of the Break the Silence: Docu-Series on April 21st. Break the Silence will “follow the 351-day journey from ‘Love Yourself Tour’ to ‘Speak Yourself Tour.’”
Break the Silence is going to be a multi-part documentary feature. It will stream on the WeVerse app. Fans of the band can pre-order Break the Silence from April 28th. The first two episodes of the series will air on May 12. WeVerse is the newly developed fanclub platform created and owned by BTS’ Korean record Big Hit Entertainment and its subsidiary beNX.
It is likely that the docu-series will also be available as a standalone purchase like other BTS video series. The fourth season of BTS’ Bon Voyage reality show from 2019 can be viewed in-app for $17.99. However, some of the BTS video content is also available for free like their Run BTS! video series. It will be interesting to see how Break the Silence will be packaged.
At present, BTS has more than 4.5 million members as part of its WeVerse page. This clearly indicates that fans are responding positively to the app. The WeVerse app will prove to be a valuable asset for BTS during the lockdown as touring is on hold. BTS members have been in constant touch with their fans through the app.
