Dynamite is one of the megahits by Kpop band, BTS. This complete English peppy track by Bangtan Boys shells out major positivity vibes and never fails making ARMY’s groove along to the beats. After breaking several records, the song has now entered the 500 greatest songs of all time list published by U.S. entertainment magazine Rolling Stone. Dynamite marks the first complete English track by BTS and it is also special for the group because it’s the first track by them to be on No. 1 position of the Billboard Hot 100 chart placed 346th on the list.
The list is compiled after conducting a poll of more than 250 artists, producers, music industry figures, critics and journalists, including Angelique Kidjo, Zedd, Sam Smith and Megan Thee Stallion. Dave Stewart, who co-wrote the Dynamite song recently informed Rolling Stone, “It had to have tempo, be exciting… one thing I’m good at is writing to brief.”
The new chart issued by Rolling Stone features more of the hip-hop, modern country, indie rock, Latin pop, reggae and RB tracks. The preview chart was mainly dominated by early rock and soul tracks. Here’s how ARMY’s reacted to this achievement by BTS:
