BTS is undoubtedly one of the most popular boy bands not only in Korea but also across the world. BTS is currently on a winning spree as their 2017 hit DNA has become the most commented-on music video in YouTube history.
The Korean pop septet broke a lot of records with the release of its latest album, Map of the Soul: 7. According to Chart Data, BTS has now achieved yet another YouTube records by defeating another South Korean pop star Psy.

As per the report, BTS’s ‘DNA’ has dethroned Soth Korean pop star Psy’s “Gangnam Style” and become the most commented-on music video in YouTube history. BTS’s DNA has garnered over 5.07 million comments, surpassing the 5.04 million comments on Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
It has been over three years since DNA was dropped on YouTube and fans are still commenting on the video. Besides becoming the most commented-on music video in YouTube history, BTS’s DNA will soon cross 1 billion views on YouTube as it has already garnered over 952.7 million views.
If DNA managed to cross 1 billion views, it will make BTS the first Korean boy band to reach the threshold and third Korean act overall after Psy (“Gangnam Style,” “Gentleman”) and Blackpink (“Ddu-Du Ddu-Du”).

BTS released their new album Map of the Soul: 7 on February 21 and within a few hours, it became the bestselling album of the year worldwide, according to Chart Data.
Meanwhile, BTS had recently announced that they will reschedule their upcoming ‘Map Of The Soul’ tour due to coronavirus outbreak. Post cancellation of their Seoul concert dates, they have postponed their 27-date North American leg that was supposed to begin from April 11.
