BTS member, Jimin broke several records on musical charts with his solo track-Filter. Most recently he had become the first Korean artist to cross 100 million streams on Spotify for 3 of his solo songs- Lie, Serendipity and Filter. The handsome hunk achieves yet another feat as Filter completes one year of stay on the Billboard charts.
Jimin crooned Filter song is from the band’s Map Of The Soul:7 album. It has completed its one-year stay on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart today. Proud ARMY’s share warm posts on social media and they also trend ‘Congratulations Jimin’ on Twitter.
For the unversed, BTS had earlier revealed that each of the songs from the Map Of The Soul: 7 album had a special connection with seven members. Each of the track tells a meaningful story and it also showcases their perspective in life as the idols. Although Jimin didn’t write this song alone, he was the one to come up with the idea. The singer revealed how people think he changed over the years while he believes that he is the same person ever since he debuted. He says people see him through different lenses and that’s why he wanted to express his feeling through Filter.
