After the super-success of Avengers: Endgame there are a host of superhero flicks all set to hit Indian Shores. Not only ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and ‘Dark Phoenix’, we now have Producer James Gunn all set to unleash Brightburn a new superhero in India on 24th May 2019.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,
“Brightburn” offers a horror twist on the superhero genre. It stars Elizabeth Banks (Tori Breyer) and David Denman (Kyle Breyer), who play a couple raising an extra-terrestrial child Jackson A. Dunn (Brandon Breyer/Brightburn) who unlike Superman has no love for the human race.

Gunn said, “It is something we have never seen before. It’s a superhero movie with a horror angle. It’s also an honest way of coming at the superhero myth because there’s something terrifying about the idea of a super-powered alien that would come to Earth.”
“Tori thinks her son is going to bring glory to the world and help us, but that’s not necessarily the case. In every way we watch this movie, he is a ghost, he is a demon child, and we treated the movie exactly like that,” the filmmaker said.
‘Brightburn’ that is being directed by David Yarovesky features Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner, Steve Agee, Becky Wahlstrom and Stephen Blackehart in pivotal roles.
