Breaking Bad pop-up opens in Los Angeles on the heels of El Camino premiere
The Breaking Bad fever is raging once again thanks to the new Netflix movie El Camino. Netflix recently revealed that more than 25 million households watched ‘”El Camino’ within the first week of its premiere. This proves that fans are still hooked on ‘Breaking Bad’. We now have a pop up restaurant opening up in Los Angeles that is all set to give fans a chance to immerse themselves in the world of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. The pop-up bar and restaurant is aptly called the ‘Breaking Bad Experience’.
The pop-up, which opened in West Hollywood on October 16, pays tribute to all five seasons of the show. It features bartenders in hazmat suits and cocktails with names like The One That Knocks and Blue Sky. A Los Pollos Hermanos shop and the iconic RV where Walt and Jesse first began cooking together.
It has bartenders in hazmat suits making cocktails in beaker glasses.
The One That Knocks (left) and Felina (right) are two of the drinks you can order at The Breaking Bad Experience. The bag of powder is actually smoked salt and chile powder or a floating eyeball. The eyeball is a reference to the eyeball of a teddy bear that Walt finds in his pool in the second season of the show.
The pop-up also features Los Pollos Hermanos, Gus Fring’s fried chicken chain.
The Heisenburger sliders get their name from Walt’s alias, Heisenberg.
The light-up ice cube flickers in the drink adding a mysterious aura to it.
There is the dessert too for the ones with a sweet tooth.
So get set to have fun at the Breaking Bad inspired restaurant this weekend. Tickets for the pop-up start at $30 per person. The cost includes entry, a choice of drink and food item. Visitors can purchase additional food or drinks á la carte. You can book your tickets here.,
