This month’s brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members have been revealed by The Korean Business Research Institute. These rankings are based on an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 598 boy group members.
Unsurprisingly, BTS member Jimin topped the list for the 16th time. He had a brand reputation index of 7,496,181 for April. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Filter,” “fan,” and “ARMY,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “cool,” “kind,” and “donate.” Jimin’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 82.10 percent positive reactions.
Jimin has also set the record as the first and only Korean artist in history to rank #1 for 12 consecutive months in the Brand Reputation Ranking for Top 100 Idols.
Meanwhile, EXO’s Suho acquired a second place on the list this month. He had a brand reputation index of 6,458,545. This is a remarkable 265.52 percent increase in his score since last month. In addition, fellow EXO member Baekhyun placed third. Similar to Suho, he also saw an immense rise in his brand reputation with a 329.40 percent rise since March. His total index came out to 6,239,442 for April.
