Yet another bridge collapsed in Mumbai on March 14 evening outside Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Railway station which left at least six people killed and more than 30 injured. Mumbai bridge collapse incident has been widely condemned by all walks of life including Bollywood celebrities, Politicians, and common people as well.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Sachin Tendulkar and several Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Hema Malini and Vivek Oberoi and others expressed their grief and condolences to the people who lost their lives in the bridge collapse incident in Mumbai.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter and wrote: “T 3118 – In grief and in silent prayer .. !! Mumbai city”
Actor Riteish Deshmukh paid condolences to the victims. He wrote on Twitter, “What a horrible tragedy.. so sad to know that many have lost lives. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones & prayers for the injured. This #MumbaiBridgeCollapse should have been avoided. This negligence is unpardonable.”
Hema Malini took to Twitter and wrote: “Tragedy- this time in the heart of Mumbai! The foot overbridge at the CST suddenly collapsed killing 5 people & injuring at least 36. I pray for those who have lost their lives & for those now in hospital for treatment?”
Apart from Bollywood actors, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and wrote: “Distressed at the news of the fall of part of the overbridge at CST. Praying for the injured. Commuter safety needs attention and hoping that authorities act to prevent such incidents.”
Narendra Modi offered his condolences to those who lost their lives due to the foot overbridge incident in Mumbai. He wrote on Twitter, “Deeply anguished by the loss of lives due to the foot overbridge accident in Mumbai. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. Wishing that the injured recover at the earliest. The Maharashtra Government is providing all possible assistance to those affected.”
Congress President Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter and expressed his grief and prayed for those who are severely injured.
