Irrfan Khan dies at 53: Amitabh Bachchan to Ajay Devgn, Bollywood celebs mourn his loss
Irrfan Khan passed away at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday.
Hours after Irrfan Khan was hospitalized with colon infection, the actor passed away today i.e. April 29, 2020. The actor, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday. The news of his demise comes a few hours after his spokesperson had confirmed that he was under doctor’s observation. The 53-year old actor is survived wife Sutapa and sons – Babil and Ayan.
The news has come as a shock to many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Shabana Azmi, and many other celebrities mourned the death of the actor with their tweets.

It is to be noted that Irrfan Khan breathed his last a few days after her mother Saeeda Begum died in Jaipur. The actor could not attend the funeral due to the nationwide lockdown.
Irrfan Khan is popularly known for her roles in Bollywood movies like ‘Maqbool’ and ‘Piku’. The versatile actor earned a National Award for his powerful act in sports drama ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. Besides Bollywood, he was globally recognized for his roles in movies like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Inferno’ and ‘Life of Pi’.
The actor made his comeback in the films with Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’ which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madan. He was also absent from the movie promotions due to his ailments.
