‘Blank’: Akshay Kumar shoots a special song for Karan Kapadia’s debut film

Late actress Simple Kapadia’s son Karan Kapadia is marking his Bollywood debut in Behzad Khambata’s thriller ‘Blank’. The trailer of the film that was recently unveiled garnered much love from the viewers and we now hear that superstar Akshay Kumar has shot for a special song with Karan for his debut film,(Karan is Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna’s cousin).

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,

Akshay Kumar and Karan Kapadia wrapped the shoot of the energetic number on Monday in Film City. The song has been sung by B Praak who recently sang ‘Meri Mitti’ for Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Kesari’. It is composed by Arko and choreographed by Ranju Varghese.

Praising Karan in an interview to Mumbai Mirror Akshay Kumar had said, “Karan has chosen an unconventional route for his debut and I am extremely proud of him. Doing this song is my way of wishing him all the best. The boy has genuine acting skills. I first saw the spark in a short film that he did which even went to the Cannes Film Festival. With Blank, Karan has gone several notches up in terms of acting and performance.”

‘Blank’, produced by Dr. Shrikant Bhasi, Nishant Pitti, Tony D’souza and Vishal Rana, and &Pictures, revolves around the life of a suicide bomber. It also features Sunny Deol in a pivotal role and is all set to release on 3rd May 2019.
