South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment has made an announcement to release 2019 Blackpink’s Summer Diary. According to reports, BLACKPINK Summer Diary [In Hawaii] will have photos and videos of Blackpink — which is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment, consisting of members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — enjoying their vacation in Hawaii after completing their world tour.
Notably, the South Korean girl group was formed on 8th August 2016, with their single album titled Square One, which hit on the Billboard World Digital Songs chart and set the record as the most-viewed debut music video by a Korean act.
The Summer Diary is currently available for pre-order, which started from today August 28 at 3 p.m. KST to September 8. The photo book will officially be released on September 9 through YG’s official online shop YG Select as well as offline record stores in Korea.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently crowned the first Korean girl group to receive the RIAA gold certification with their hit track “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” Blackpink is the first and only K-pop girl group to enter and top Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. They are also the first female K-pop group to have four number-one singles on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
