Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam Kothari, and Tabu have got fresh notices from Rajasthan High Court in the blackbuck poaching case. It is a long case that dates back to 1998 when they were shooting for the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain.
As per reports by ANI, the Rajasthan High Court issued the notices to the actors. A plea was filed by the Rajasthan government against their acquittal by a Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court on April 5 last year. Justice Garg said that after eight weeks the hearing will take place. Also, a notice was also issued to Dushyant Singh who allegedly accompanied the actors when the poaching took place.
Salman Khan was also included in the poaching case with these actors. The Dabangg actor allegedly killed two blackbucks (an endangered species). He was found guilty under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and other actors were charged under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code. Salman got a five-year of imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000. He is currently on bail and the case is still pending.
