BioWare executive producer Mark Darrah tweets ‘Dragon Age’ repeatedly
Dragon Age 4 was announced at last year's Game Awards
BioWare executive producer Mark Darrah sent the gaming community into a flurry of speculations and deductions when he tweeted Dragon Age repeatedly. Dragon Age 4 was first announced at last year’s annual Game Awards ceremony. However, there hasn’t been much news on that front since the reveal, leaving players waiting for updates on the game. There were even rumors that the Dragon Age 4 had been shelved but BioWare was quick to dismiss these claims.
In midst of all the waiting and rumors, BioWare’s Mark Darrah stoked the flames by tweeting out ‘Dragon Age repeatedly. Mark Darrah is the executive producer on the Dragon Age series as well as a Twitter regular fond of “making cryptic statements to tease fans.”

If nothing, it is a good maneuver to keep the fans talking about Dragon Age 4 and not let the spark fizzle out. While BioWare and Electronic Arts have been talking about a new Dragon Age game for months, there isn’t really anything to go by except the teaser released at last year’s Game Awards.
Dragon Age is a dark fantasy RPG game series that started in 2009 with Dragon Age: Origins. Its sequel Dragon Age II was released in March 2011. The third installment in the series, Dragon Age: Inquisition, was released in November 2014. The series has garnered three spin-offs to date.
The various name drops could be a hint to an announcement coming at the 2019 Game Awards. However, it is equally possible that Mark Darrah was teasing the fanbase and nothing comes out of the multiple tweets.
