Malayalam Singer Biju Narayan’s Wife Sreelatha Passes Away

Popular Malayalam singer Biju Narayan has lost his wife Sreelatha in the early hours of August 13, 2019. She was suffering from cancer and had been undergoing treatment for the same since long. Sreelatha breathed her last in the early hours of August 13. She was only 44 years old.

The news of Sreelatha’s demise has left the South Industry in a shock. Her funeral will take place at their residence in Kalamassery on August 13 at 7.30 pm. She is survived by her husband and two sons Siddarth Narayanan and Suryanarayanan.

Not many know but Biju and Sreelatha were classmates at the Maharajas College in Eranakulam. They tied the knot after dating for a decade. It was on January 23, 1998, Biju tied the knot with his ladylove Sreelatha. They had celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in January 2019. Pictures of the much in love couple celebrating the day with their near and dear ones are viral on social media.

Biju Narayan is a popular singer in the Malayalam film industry. The playback singer has crooned to more than 400 songs in various south languages. Biju Narayan, who is trained in Carnatic music, started his playback singing career with the song “Pathu Veluppinu” from the film Venkalam, released in 1993. He has even received the best male singer award in the State Drama Awards in 1996.
