Bigg Boss 15: Karan Kundrra Calls Shamita Shetty ‘Aunty,’ Latter’s Mom REACTS

The fifteenth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ started on October 2nd and it has already begun with lots of drama and entertainment. In the recent episode, Karan Kundrra is seen calling co-contestant Shamita Shetty an ‘aunty.’ Netizens have called his comment offensive and have termed it as ‘age shaming’.

In yesterday’s episode, Jay Bhanushali and Pratik Sehajal got into an intense fight which led to the latter damaging the house property. Shamita Shetty was seen unhappy with the way the task turned violent and she called the ‘junglewasis’ classless and ‘hooligans,’ which left Karan Kundrra infuriated. He was seen telling Nishant Bhatt that these comments won’t be tolerated and tell this to ‘aunty’ (Shamita Shetty.)

Now, Kundrra’s comment did not go well with Shamita’s mother Sunanda Shetty and she slammed him for age shaming her daughter. She wrote: “Which angle does Shamita look like aunty to Karan Kundra ?? AGE SHAMING & physical attacks NOT ACCEPTABLE & must be curbed with sm punitive measure @beingsalmankhan”

Kashmera Shah also reacted to Kundrra’s comment and shared the clip of the incident. She tweeted as: “Though I like his advice #karankundra I wish he had not called @ShamitaShetty aunty. What”s this age bashing happening all over again. “Aunty” is much younger than many in spirit and fire and rationality and may actually lift the #bb15 trophy this year. @ColorsTV @ShamitaShetty”
