Hollywood pop star, Ed Sheeran and BTS had earlier collaborated for the hit track, Make It Right from the Map of the Soul: Persona album of 2019. The song was crooned by BTS and Lauv and it was received well by the audience. According to the latest reports, a source from Big Hit Music now confirms that Ed Sheeran has been working on the BTS’s upcoming tracks. Bangtan Boys are all set to treat ARMY’s with a CD single for Butter. The CD will include two of the songs- Peaches and Cream, slated to be released on July 9 (the day when BTS named their fandom ARMY’s). It is speculated that this CD might include Ed Sheeran and BTS’s collab track.
According to the South Korean portals, a source from Big Hit Music stated to Newsen, “It is true that Ed Sheeran is participating in BTS’s new song.” However, there is no official confirmation about the same and the label is also yet to announce the credits for the upcoming songs.
Earlier when Big Hit Music had announced the Butter CD version on WeVerse, it revealed that the upcoming CD will include a new track that will make ARMY’s heartbeat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy. For the unversed, Ed Sheeran in his recent interview also confessed about working for BTS. While talking to the American radio show Most Requested Live host, Ed spoke about Bad Habits on June 26. About BTS, he said, “I’ve actually worked with BTS on their last record, and I’ve just written a song for their new record. And they’re like super, super cool guys as well.”
