The 21st season of Big Brother is officially over and the winner has been declared on September 21, night. Notably, Holly Allen, Jackson Michie and Nicole Anthony made it to the final.
In the three-part final Head of Household (HOH) competition, Jackson Michie ultimately walked away as the winner on the finale episode after defeating his showmance Holly Allen in a 6-3 jury vote. Whereas, Nicole Anthony, was evicted earlier after finishing in third place.
Earlier, Michie, 24, defeated Allen and Anthony in the first part of the three-part final Head of Household (HOH) competition. Michie was crowned the champion of Big Brother season 21 after defeating Allen. Notably, despite having lost the title she was awarded the $50,000 as the runner-up prize with votes from Dunn, Milagros, and Anthony.
Also, the American audience voted for Anthony as this season’s “Favourite Houseguest,” and was awarded $25,000 and Chen Moonves got $25,000 as a prize for “America’s Favorite Player“, voted by the audience.
This was the only season that marked the second time in Big Brother history that the final two comprised of a partnership. Meanwhile, some Big Brother fans were disappointed with the reality show’s outcome. Earlier in Big Brother 7, where Mike “Boogie” Malin defeated Erika Landin in the finals.
The 22nd season of Big Brother is scheduled to premiere in Summer 2020 on CBS.
