Tabu has joined the cast of Kartik Aaryan & Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Sometime ago, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 shooting went on floors in Mumbai. Ever since the picture of Kiara and Kartik with the clapboard of Bhool Bhulaiyaa surfaced on the social media, fans couldn’t keep calm. In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 the fans will get to see the fresh on-screen pairing of Kartik and Kiara.
According to a report in Pune Mirror, actress Tabu had been in talks with makers of the film for quite sometime now. She absolutely loved the script and her role in the film. “She is expected to join the cast in January when the second three-month schedule kicks off in London and Rajasthan.” a source said.
It wasn’t long ago when Kartik Aaryan took to social media Instagram handle to unveil his first look of the sequel film. In the specific picture, Kartik was dressed in saffron kurta pyjama holding a trishul in his hand. His fans were over the moon by looking at his first look.
Although Bhool Bhulaiyaa film that featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in prominent roles was a psychological thriller, however, it’s sequel will be a bit different. Bhool Bhulaiyaa2 is a horror comedy with ample of spooky moments.
For the unversed, the 2007 horror comedy film was directed by Priyadarshan and was the Hindi remake of the Mohanlal and Shobana starrer Malayalam film in 1993 titled Manichitrathazhu. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is slated to release on July 31, 2020.
