Salman Khan’s Bharat shoot to kick off in 2019, cites hilarious reason
After giving several blockbusters and success of Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan’s fans are eagerly waiting to watch him and Katrina Kaif together on silver screen again. The director of the film ‘Bharat’, Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter and made an announcement that Delhi and Punjab schedules of the film have been concluded, merely one schedule remains.
Ali Abbas Zafar hinted that the last schedule of the Bharat will be started next year citing a hilarious reason. He wrote on Twitter: “Bhai (Salman) ke birthday wale month mein kaun kaam karta hai?” he asked. Salman will turn a year older on December 27.

This might be the birthday month for Bhai but there is no respite for the director, who is continuing to work on Bharat. He wrote further, “Par hum edit mein lage hue hain…” he wrote.
It is to be noted that the film Bharat is an adaptation of the Korean film An Ode To My Father and will depict the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. In the film, Salman will reportedly be donning five different looks, spanning over 60 years. Fans are super-excited to see his Maine Pyar Kiya look recreated for the film.
Notably, Priyanka Chopra was initially cast as the leading lady but she opted out at the last minute, citing her wedding with Nick Jonas. Katrina was then brought into the picture.
The film features Katrina Kaif, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover and Tabu in lead roles, is scheduled to hit the silver screen on Eid 2019.
