‘Bharat’: Salman and Katrina standing at the Wagah border will rouse your curiosity
Salman Khan is at present busy with the shoot of his period drama ‘Bharat‘ that is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. After wrapping the Abu Dhabi and Malta schedule, the team is at present busy with the Punjab schedule of the upcoming release and the makers have recreated a huge Wagah Border set near Ballowal village in Ludhiana.
Aii Abbas Zafar and co-producer Atul Agnihotri have been keeping fans updated about the shoot of the film by sharing pictures and videos from their schedules. On Thursday, the Dabangg Khan took to Instagram and shared a still from the film. The still features the re-created Wagah Border and has him and Katrina looking towards it.

The makers had to recreate the Wagah Border in a village in Ludhiana as they were not given permission to shoot certain sequences that involved the actors to cross the border and reach Pakistan side.
‘Bharat’ is set in the backdrop of India in the 1940s and will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Salman Khan will be seen donning several looks in the upcoming release that is an official Hindi remake of South Korean film ‘Ode to My Father’ and also features Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi and Tabu in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on Eid 2019.
