Actor Bert Belasco found dead in Henrico Hotel room

Actor Bert Belasco, of ‘Pitch’ and BET’s sitcom ‘Let’s Stay Together,’ fame has died at the age of 38. The actor was found dead in Henrico Hotel room. The news was confirmed by the police. Bert was to shoot for a movie on location in Virginia. Fans and family were shocked by the 38-year-old’s untimely demise.

As reported by TMZ, Bert was quarantined in a hotel prior to shooting the film. Friends and family became concerned when they could not reach Belasco.

Sources revealed to TMZ, “On November 8, 2020, the Henrico County Police Division responded to a hotel located in the 1000 block of Virginia Center Parkway for a medical emergency. Upon arrival, first responders found an adult male, later identified as 38-year-old Bert Belasco III, of Woodland Hills, Calif., deceased. Hotel staff, who had received a call to check on Mr Belasco’s welfare when family and friends could not reach him, called the Division’s Emergency Communications Center at 2:52 a.m. Mr Belasco was pronounced on scene.

As per the statement released by the police, the cause of death has not yet been determined, but investigators said they encountered “no signs of foul play”

Bert’s father told TMZ, “it appeared his son died of an aneurysm, but he was waiting for the results of an autopsy.”

Belasco is most known for his role on the BET comedy. He was also a part of 23 movies such as Pitch, NCIS: New Orleans and Justified being some of them.
