‘Bigg Boss 14: Salman Khan’s show to air for half an hour- here’s why

Bigg Boss 14 will be airing soon on television, which also marks Salman Khan’s return as a host for the eleventh time. A few days back, we witnessed a grand virtual launch, in which a mini-tour of the house. The house for the first time will have a restaurant, spa, theatre, and a mall. Now, reportedly, the reality show will be airing for half an hour only, instead of one hour here’s why.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, this decision has been taken in view of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season,  “The makers have chosen a shorter format this time because of the ongoing IPL season. Unlike other years, the COVID outbreak caused a postponement in the IPL dates and with the tournament being played out right now, the TRPs won’t be as high as they expect it to be. But this is just for a month. After around a month, they will get back to the old 1-hour slot,” said the report.

During the launch, it was confirmed that singer Kumar Sanu’s son Jaan Sanu will be a part of the show. It was also said that Gauhar Khan- Winner of Bigg Boss 7, Hina Khan from Bigg Boss 11, and Siddharth Shukla- Winner of Bigg Boss 13 will be an important part of the reality show

Reportedly, Eijaz Khan, Jasmin Bhasin, Nishant Malkani Singh, Gia Manek, Rahul Vaidya, Sara Gurpal, Pavitra Punia, Sneha Ullal, Shehzad Deol, will be seen as the contestants of the show. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
