The makers of Batti Gul Meter Chalu released a new song titled Dekhte-Dekhte and in the song Shahid is yearning for Shraddha and reminiscing about their time together. The song is a reworked version of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s qawwali which is also of the same name.
The song is a romantic number sung by Atif Aslam and composed by Rochak Kohli. The lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir.
We can see that Shahid is very unhappy in the song and is trying to solve matters with Shraddha but she is in no mood of forgiving him. The reminisced moments like their bike ride, first date, first dance and other other such moments add a happy touch to the sad song. Atif Aslam has truly taken the song a notch higher with his vocals.
The film Batti Gul Meter Chalu is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and features Shahid, Shraddha, Divyendu and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
This film is about Shahid Kapoor whose friend, Divyendu commits suicide because the electricity board sends him a bill of Rs 54 lakh which he is not able to pay up. Shahid then decides to teach the company a lesson and drags the electricity board to court.
