John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer upcoming release Batla House is based on a terrorist encounter that took place on September 19, 2008 in Delhi. The Nikhhil Advani directorial promises to unravel the truth behind Operation Batla House in the thriller drama.

‘Batla House‘ has John Abraham portraying the role of Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. The man who spearheaded the encounter. It is the story of India’s Most Decorated/Controversial Cop’who has had 70 encounters, a record 22 convictions from 30 cases and nine Gallantry Awards.
The much awaited trailer of the film will be out on July 10. ‘Batla Houes’ will be releasing in theatres on August 15. It is all set to clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and Baahubali star Prabhas upcoming action dhamaka ‘Saaho’.
