If you have been delaying plans of visiting the bank, then you need to keep in mind the dates for August month. Indian banks to remain shut for 15 days in August (the holidays might vary as per states). According to the Reserve Bank Of India’s (RBI) calendar the private as well as public sector banks won’t be available for customer services for 15 days this month (Aug 2021) including the second and fourth Saturdays. There are total 8 bank holidays due to festivals in this month and while others being the weekends. Check out the complete list of holidays in this month.
