Bala: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer gets a release date

Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam starrer, Bala’s release date has been finalised. The movie is set to release on November 22 this year. The movie has been bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and the makers took to their Twitter handle to announce the release date.

The shooting has started recently in Kanpur and is going on full swing. The movie revolves around a guy who has the issue of premature balding. Ayushmann is playing the character, Bala. Yami plays Ayushmann’s lead love interest in the film. She is in the role of a supermodel. The movie also stars Bhumi Pednekar who plays a dusky small town educated girl.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, the Vicky Donar actor revealed that he will be seen in two-three stages of baldness in the film. “But it’s difficult to shave my head because one day I will be shooting stage one, the next day stage two and so on, without following the natural progression all through. So, we will have to rely on prosthetics,” the actor said.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.
