A television actor’s wife recently committed suicide. Madhu Prakash who has also worked as a character artist in Baahubali is a well-known actor of Telugu television. He got into limelight with serial ‘Kumkuma Puvvu’. Madhu lost his wife Bharati on Tuesday night. Madhu and his wife had tied the knot in 2015. She worked in a private firm and was staying with her inlaws at Panchavati colony in Manikonda.
As reported by Hans news, Madhu and his wife often fought. She was not happy with his profession and the late nights he kept shooting for the serials. A few reports also suggest that Bharati suspected her husband to be in a relationship with a senior actress. The extra-marital affair of the actor is said to be the reason why she took this huge step in life.
On a fateful night, the actor told his wife he is going to the gym and later for his shoot. Bharati called him and asked him to return home or else she will end her life. But he ignored it.
He further added that when he came home around 7.30 he found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan. A shocked Madhu soon informed the police. The Rayadurgam police reached the venue and recorded his statement. They later shifted Bharati to Osmania General Hospital for post mortem.
Bharati’s family members have alleged that there was a misunderstanding between the couple. The two were given counselling. But things did not quieten and the actor’s wife committed suicide.
Police are interrogating for more details.
