Ayushmann Khurrana is known to make a great choice of films. The actor has donned a different character in each of his films. He is now going to essay the role of a cop in his upcoming film Article 15.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s first look from the film was revealed yesterday. The intense look with those sunglasses give away the no-nonsense cop kind of look. Even the teaser of the film was released yesterday.
But Ayushmann Khurrana has revealed that he has immense respect for senior Bollywood actors who have been a major inspiration for him. the actors are Amitabh Bachchan from ‘Zanjeer’ and Manoj Bajpayee from ‘Shool’. What kept the actor from playing the role was that he was waiting for a good script to come his way.
Article 15 is a film based on article 15 of the Indian Constitution which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. The actor who has already essayed roles with a social cause in films like ‘Vicky Donor’ and ‘Andhadhun’ is again playing a role with a social cause.
The film ‘Article 15’ is going to release on the 28 June 2019 as a part of the worldwide premiere in the London Indian Film Festival. It shall be screened on the opening night of the film festival.
The film cast consists of Ayushmann Khurrana, Isha Talwar, M Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
