In the last few years, Bollywood has witnessed many talented actors who have achieved a lot over a period of a short time. One of them is Ayushmann Khurana. Yes, Ayushmann made his debut in 2012 with Vicky Donor and since then he has delivered many hit movies such as Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan, Badhaai Ho, AndhaDhun which put him in A-lister Bollywood stars.
For the unversed, Ayushmann Khurana has recently won the National Film Award for his outstanding performance in Andhadhun. The Badhai Ho actor has created a niche for himself in the Hindi film industry as his filmography is quite different from any other Bollywood stars.
When Ayushmmann was recently asked how does he feel about young Bollywood actors are being compared to Khans of Bollywood like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, he told Times Now that he did not find the comparison fair as Khans have been in the industry over 25-30 years and they still continue to rule the hearts of millions of fans.
Ayushmann said that actors like him would have to work for those many years for the comparison to be fair.
The Dream Girl actor said, “We are no threats. It’s just that this is the era where certain kind of films are working. You need to give those 25-30 years to be compared to the Khans or any other senior. This is very unfair. We have just begun, we need to evolve more and work for another 25 years to be compared to them.”
Ayushmann said that if he steps out today, his fans would not cause a traffic jam but if the Khans of Bollywood go out, it would surely half the traffic.
On the professional front, Ayushmann is gearing up for his upcoming film Dream Girl, in which he pretends to be a girl and talks over the phone which gets him into tricky situations. Directed by Raaj Shandiliyaa, Dream Girl is scheduled to release on September 13, 2019.
