Ayesha Takia was born on April 10, 1986, to a Hindu father and a Muslim mother in Mumbai. After working in ads and debuting in Bollywood her first serious relationship was with Siddharth Koirala. He is actress Manisha Koirala’s brother and was trying to get a foothold in Bollywood. Not much is known about how or where they met but they knew each other much before Ayesha’s debut in B-Town. The duo parted ways after three years for reasons unknown but still remain, friends.
After she broke up with Siddarth Koirala, the ‘Dor’ actress had a short fling with Ameesha Patel’s brother Ashmit Patel. Though the two actors never accepted the relationship, an MMS of Ashmit and Riya Sen caused Ayesha to break up with Ashmit.
Ayesha finally found her Prince Charming in Farhan Azmi a restaurateur and son of politician Abu Asim Azmi and a family friend. They started meeting each other in 2005 and by the year-end started making public appearances together. After dating for three years they finally tied the knot on March 01, 2009. By the age of twenty-three, Ayesha was married to her dream man.
The couple is parents to an adorable son Mikail Azmi born on December 06, 2013 who made their family complete.
