The list of Asus devices has been published on Zen Talk – the company’s official forum — by the forum moderators, thus lending credibility to the source. Since it’s effectively only a promise, there is a chance that not all of these phones will receive the latest update.
The company has recently launched ZenFone Max Pro M2, which has been powered by a powerful Snapdragon 660 chipset and stock Android interface. Asus’s last two smartphones ZenFone Max Pro M2 and Asus ZenFone 5Z, already have Android 9 Pie update.
In order to grab the user’s attention, Asus keeps offering a discount on its smartphones from time-to-time, making them good value for many options in the budget segment. However, the company has been unveiling all its phones with Android Oreo and has been promising the Pie update.
