Indian captain Rohit Sharma appears to sweat it out in a video which he posted on Twitter.
India’s near perfect campaign so far at the Asia Cup was met with a draw against Afghanistan in their last match of the Super Four stage. Rohit, who as rested for the match has hit the gym and gearing up to tackle the Bangladeshi challenge in the final on Friday.
Here is the video:
Despite India failing to defeat Afghanistan on Tuesday, Rohit Sharma and his men must take heart considering the fact that they had fielded a second string side in the inconsequential fixture. Not only the stand-in captain but top performers like Shikhar Dhawan, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneswar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal were given rest and fresh faces in the form of Siddharth Kaul, Deepak Chahar, KL Rahul and Khaleel Ahmed was brought into the playing XI. Nonetheless, it wouldn’t be an easy job for India to topple Bangladesh, given the fact that they pulled off a stunning win over Pakistan on Wednesday and would carry that momentum and confidence into the game.
