Ashiesh Roy Says ‘Soon I Will Have To Stop Dialysis As I Will Have No Money Left’
‘Sasural Simar Ka’ fame Ashiesh Roy, in an interview, spoke about his financial crises and opened up on struggling to pay for his dialysis sessions
‘Sasural Simar Ka’ actor Ashiesh Roy was hospitalized on May 14, he was admitted to the ICU, however, the actor has been having difficulty financially. Recently, he revealed that he was discharged as he couldn’t afford high-priced hospital rooms and treatments.
Now, in a new interview with Times Of India, he opened up on struggling to pay for his dialysis sessions, he said, “I go through dialysis 4 times a week and each dialysis cost me Rs 2000. Today only I have deposited Rs 1 lakh for my dialysis. But slowly all my money is getting over and I think very soon I will have to stop my dialysis because I will be left with no money.”
“The doctors have informed me that the excess water from my body has been removed but my kidneys have been damaged and for my body to function I need a kidney transplant. If I stop my dialysis andar hi andar kachra jama hote jayega and it will become toxic. Right now I am thinking of kidney transplant because I can’t simply use all my money for dialysis,” said the actor.
The actor also said that because of the growing cases of COVID-19, there is a high risk of infection, thus he can not opt for a kidney transplant now. So, he currently, surviving on dialysis.
Ashiesh revealed that many celebrities have extended their help to him, several members of the industry, like filmmakers Luv Ranjan, Hansal Mehta, Habib Faisal, and Vijay Krishna Acharya aided the actor financially.
Ashiesh Roy is known for television shows such as ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, ‘Sasural Simar Ka,’ and ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.’
