Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman & Helen recreate ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ moment in Andaman

Veteran actresses Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman, and Helen have not just been the queen of millions of hearts but are also known to share a great bond together which has been going strong for years. The trio have been holidaying in the Andaman islands.

Now, photos of the three actresses are going viral on social media, in which they are seen having a gala time together. Shared by filmmaker Tanujj Garg in his caption stated how if the movie, Dil Chahta Hai was to be remade, it would be with these legendary actors.

“If “Dil Chahta Hai” were to get remade with three grand dames, it would be with these legends – Waheeda Rehman, Asha Parekh and Helen. Making the most of their retirement years, holidaying in the Andamans. Filled with joie de vivre. Put a smile on my face. 💗,” Tanujj Garg captioned in his post.

Waheeda, Asha and Helen, who often spend time together, appeared on an episode of the dance reality show, Dance Deewane 3 a few weeks ago.

On the work front, Asha was last seen in the 1995 release Andolan which featured Govinda, Sanjay Dutt and Mamta Kulkarni in the lead, while Helen was seen in the 2012 release Jodi Breakers, next in Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Rampal starrer Heroine. Lastly, Waheeda Rehman appeared in the 2020 release Vishwaroopam II which had Kamal Haasan in the lead.
