Aryan Khan’s Lawyer Satish Maneshinde Has To Say THIS About Star Kid’s Arrest
Satish Maneshinde, lawyer of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan stated that the star kid was arrested only based on chats in alleged drugs case.
On Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in an alleged drugs case. He has been booked under sections 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 8C (produce, manufacture, possess, sell or purchase of drugs) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).
Along with Aryan, seven others were detained following a raid at a Mumbai rave party held off coast. Aryan’ friends Arbaaz Seth Merchant and fashion designer Munmun Dhamecha were picked up late Saturday and were questioned at the NCB office at Ballard Pier.
Now, Satish Maneshinde, lawyer of Aryan Khan stated that he was arrested only based on chats. He told the court, “He did not have a ticket or a boarding pass, no allotted seat number or cabin. He reached the dock to board and the authorities screened him. His luggage along with that of his friends was also screened and nothing was found.” Maneshinde also said that he will file Khan’s bail application on Monday before the regular court.
According to the latest update by ETimes, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said: “I cannot reveal the links and the findings of last evening’s interrogation, but there are areas we need to investigate.”
An official said: “Khan was apologetic when we asked him to accompany us to the NCB office.” They also reportedly said that a small quantity of drugs was found in his friend Arbaz Merchant’s shoes.
Aryan is now under custody till today, October 4.
