Aryan Khan Sent To Judicial Custody For 14 Days In Drugs Case

In the latest development, Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant, and others have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Aryan Khan’s bail application to be heard tomorrow at 11 am.

News Agency ANI tweeted about the same and wrote: “#UPDATE | Mumbai court sends Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant and 6 others to judicial custody for 14 days in drugs seizure at cruise ship. Court says the case will now be heard by special NDPS court”

Satish Maneshinde, who represents the 23-year-old, is expected to make another application for bail. Arbaaz Merchantt’s lawyer has also filed for bail.

“Investigation is of prime importance and it needs to be carried out. It benefits both accused and investigator,” a judge stated while extending the custody of Aryan Khan and others.

As per Covid protocol, Aryan and the 7 others who have been sent to judicial custody cannot be sent to a jail without a negative COVID-19 test report. Thus, they will be spending Thursday night at the NCB office instead. They have also been granted permission to meet their family members by the magistrate.
