Drugs Case: Aryan Khan GRANTED bail by Bombay High Court
Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha have been granted bail by the Bombay High Court in cruise drugs case.
On October 2, Aryan Khan and two of his friends – Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were arrested after a raid by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
On Wednesday Aryan Khan’s counsel Mukul Rohatgi, co-accused Arbaaz Merchant’s lawyer Amit Desai and advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh who appeared for Munmun Dhamecha completed their arguments.
Khan’s bail plea was rejected by the special court on October 20 in the case following which his judicial custody in the matter got extended till October 30. Later, the 23-year-old and his friends approached the Bombay High Court for a bail hearing.
Aryan’s bail hearing got adjourned yesterday for the second time and it resumed again today at 2:30 PM. Now, the latest update, is that the star kid and his friends have been granted bail in the drugs case. According to the Live Law, the court will pronounce detailed order with reasons tomorrow.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Thursday said applicant Aryan Khan is not a first-hand consumer but a regular consumer of drugs for the last two years.
ASG Anil Singh representing NCB told Bombay High Court that Aryan was aware that Arbaaz was in possession. “Charas was for smoking and it was for the consumption of both though it was with Arbaaz physically.”
Meanwhile, Khan is lodged at Mumbai’s Arthur Road Prison along with Merchant. Dhamecha, meanwhile, is at Byculla women’s prison.
