On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and of two others who were among the 8 arrested were denied bail by a magistrate’s court on Friday in the drug case. Now, his bail plea hearing is scheduled for today at 10. 30 AM. Currently, the star kid is in 14-day judicial custody.
Ahead of Aryan’s bail, his mother Gauri Khan’s car was spotted by the paparazzi leaving from their bunglow, Mannat.
At the bail hearing on Fridat, Aryan Khan, through his lawyer Satish Maneshinde, stated that he was a 23-year-old and is not going to abscond. “I have parents and a family here. I have an Indian passport and I am not going to abscond. There is no question of tampering.”
Last week, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Aryan after a raid on a Goa-bound cruise ship.
After the raids conducted by undercover NCB officials, the team seized 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of Hashish, 22 pills of MDMA and 5 grams of MD. A local court in Mumbai on Thursday sent Aryan Khan and seven others to judicial custody for 14 days.
There are recent reports stating that Shah Rukh Khan, who endorses online ed-tech platform Byju’s has suspended all the ads featuring him. However, an official confirmation is yet to be made.
