Drugs Case: Bombay HC adjourns Aryan Khan bail hearing AGAIN for tomorrow
The Bombay High Court has once again adjourned the hearing of the bail plea of Aryan Khan in connection with the cruise drugs bust case.
Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is currently lodged at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. He has been among the main accused in the cruise drug bust case and it has been making the headlines for a while now.
Khan has been in police custody since October 3 after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a drug raid on the Cordelia Cruise ship that was on its way to Goa at mid-sea on October 2. Currently, the senior advocate and former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi is fighting Aryan Khan’s case.
Now, the latest update in the case is that the High Court has adjourned the hearing of the bail plea of Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Damecha.
News agency ANI tweeted: “Drugs-on-cruise case: Lawyers of accused Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha & Arbaz Merchant conclude arguments on their bail applications before Bombay HC; ASG Anil Singh for NCB will respond to the arguments tomorrow”

Khan’s bail plea was rejected by the special court on October 20 in the case following which his judicial custody in the matter got extended till October 30. Later, the 23-year-old’s legal team approached the Bombay High Court for a bail hearing.
Meanwhile, Manish Rajgaria and Avin Sahu, who were the first accused in the case were granted bail by a special court under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in the ongoing cruise drugs case.
Ananya Panday also has come under the scanner by the Anti-Drugs agency in Aryan’s case and was called for questioning by the NCB.
