The teaser of Arun Vijay’s teaser reminds us of Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Vikram Vedha, which also dealt with a similar theme. The story of the film revolves around a battle between a lion’s power and a fox’s intellect. The role of antagonist Prasanna is compared to a cunning fox.
Taking to the microblogging site, Arun Vijay shared a screenshot of the same teaser informing his fans that Mafia Teaser is doing great on YouTube and has already fetched 1.1 million views and 153,000 likes.

A few days back, the young director Naren shared a photo with South superstar Rajinikanth and stated that he was on a cloud nine as Darbar actor loved the teaser. “Brilliant work kanna. Semaya irukku. Loved it.’ These were Rajini sir’s words after watching the teaser of Mafia. Thank god I did not faint. Blown away by his humility. Thalaivar for a reason. (sic),” he wrote on Twitter.
