After turning up as a groundsman on the second day of the Lord’s Test between India and England, Arjun Tendulkar on Saturday could be seen selling radios outside the iconic stadium.
Veteran Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is present in England as a commentator posted a picture with the budding cricketer, in which Arjun could be seen carrying a sling bag around his neck, which contained few rushes of digital radios. These radios were reportedly launched by the Lord’s cricket committee in 2013.
The former off-spinner even brought a radio from Arjun and captioned the picture saying, “Look who selling radios @HomeOfCricket today.. sold 50 rush guys only few left ? junior @sachintendulkar#Goodboy @Arjuntendulkar24.”
One cannot be certain whether Arjun was actually selling those radios or just posed for fun. But from what can be made by looking at the picture by Harbhajan, it seems that the 18-year-old son of the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is enjoying his life in England.
Just a night ago, he was seen helping out the Lord’s groundstaff in covering the pitch after rain had interrupted play. The official Twitter account of the “home of cricket” even posted a picture of him and wrote, “Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our groundstaff!”

The fast bowler, who made his debut in the international stage during the Youth Test series against Sri-Lanka took his maiden wicket in the very first over of the first Test, but failed to make any substantial contribution and hence was left out of the ODI squad.
Arjun who spends most of his time in London honing his cricket skills was also earlier seen bowling to the Indian batsmen at the nets, a day before the second Test match started.
In Meanwhile, India was bowled out for a paltry 107 in the opening innings, with James Anderson taking his sixth five-wicket haul at Lord’s. The 36-year-old remain just one wicket away from becoming just the second bowler after Muttiah Muralitharan to take 100 Test wickets in a single cricket ground.
