Arjun Tendulkar failed to open his account while batting as he departed for a duck in his maiden Under-19 appearance during the first Youth Test match against the Sri Lankan U-19 team at the Nondescripts Cricket Club in Colombo.
The tall left hander was dismissed by Shashika Dulshan. The 18-year-old all-rounder played 11 deliveries but failed to score a single run. He leaned forward and played good defensive strokes before getting dismissed. The pressure of getting first International mounted as he was about to play his 11th delivery. He came up with another forward defence, edging one straight to the forward short leg fielder who took a sharp catch to dismiss master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar on a duck.

Sachin Tendulkar won’t have much to say to his son as coincidentally, the little master himself was dismissed for a duck in his ODI debut against Pakistan in 1989. Twitter saw a series of trolls on Tendulkar junior and some of them are as follows.
Opener Atharwa Taide scored 113 off 160 balls, while Ayush Badoni smashed an unbeaten 185 off 205 balls for India. For Sri Lanka, Kalhara Senarathne returned with figures of 6 for 170.
