Arjun Kapoor Calls For Reduced Use Of Plastic On World Environment Day

Actor Arjun Kapoor has taken to Instagram on World Environment Day to share his ‘One Wish For The Earth’ to fight climate change. He has called to reduce the use of plastic in our daily lives as a way to sustain the environment. Arjun Kapoor has become the latest in the line of celebrities that have come out in support of Bhumi Pednekar’s environment initiative ‘Climate Warriors’. The campaign asks celebrities to pick their one wish for the earth.
Arjun Kapoor posted a video on Instagram supporting the campaign. He stated that his ‘one wish’ would be to reduce the use of plastic that is hazardous for the environment.
“The only thing that came to my mind is … let’s reduce the use of plastic on a day to day basis. We have already caused a lot of harm unknowingly and knowingly in some cases,” the Ki and Ka actor said. He also explained how marine lives were also being affected by the rampant use of plastic.
He captioned the video, “This #WorldEnvironmentDay, my #OneWishForTheEarth is we curb using plastic and help protect planet Earth. Let’s all become more conscious of our actions and be #ClimateWarriors! Thanks @bhumipednekar for spreading awareness on climate conservation”
Moreover, the actor also noted that he has become conscious of the environment. He called for the use of metal bottles instead of plastic.
“Small changes matter. I’m a climate warrior, are you?” the actor concluded.
Arjun Kapoor is not the only actor supporting the initiative and expressing a wish to protect the environment. Earlier, big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, and others also came forward to support the initiative.
