Bollywood singer, Arijit Singh’s mother Aditi was admitted to the Amri Hospital based in Dhakuria (Kolkata) after she had tested positive for the Coronavirus. She was under medical attention for a long and recently tested negative for the COVID-19. Just two days after testing negative she passed away and the cause of her demise is said to be a cerebral stroke. She breathed her last on Thursday i.e May 20.
Aditi Singh was 52-year-old and she contracted Coronavirus reportedly in April. An official statement issued by the hospital stated, “She passed away last night around 11 pm. Singh, admitted with COVID, was put on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). She tested negative on Monday but succumbed to a cerebral stroke last night.”
For the unversed, renowned Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee had earlier requested her fans to donate blood. She revealed that the singer’s mother was admitted to the AMRI Dhakuria and was in need of blood for treatment. The singer has not shared anything on his social media handles as yet.
