Legendary football player Diego Maradona has passed away aged 60. Former Argentina forward suffered a cardiac arrest in his home in Tigre, Argentina. As reported by Argentine newspaper Clarin. The football legend had a heart attack at his home just two weeks after leaving the hospital. He had recently undergone surgery on a blood clot in his brain.

The Argentinian started his career at Boca Juniors before moving to Barcelona. He had won the Copa del Rey trophy. Maradona also won the World Cup with Argentina in 1986. He became notorious for his ‘Hand of God’ goal against England.
