As Per The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Few Areas In Mumbai To Face Water Cut On December 9 And 10. The List Of Areas Include Andheri. Dadar, Kurla And Few Others
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) urged residents of Mumbai to save water, as the BMC workers will cut the water flow for few areas from G-North and G-South wards for the maintenance and repairing work on pipelines. Areas including Dadar, Prabhadevi, Mahim to suffer water cuts.
The BMC officials are apparently performing the task of replacing the British-era Tansa aqueduct on December 9 and 10. This old pipe will be replaced with the new one, which is 4km in length and its diameter is 1,800mm. And thus there would be not water supply on these two days in few areas. The civic body has requested netizens to store the water for these two days.
Areas which would suffer the cut for complete two days are Bhandup West, Andheri East, Bandra Kurla
Complex, Kurla, Dadar, Dharavi.
On the other side, areas which would face slow water supply are Ghatkopar, Kurla North, Kurla-Andheri road, Jarimari, Ghatkopar Andheri Link road, Savarkarnagar, Mahatma Phulenagar, Matunga Labor Camp and few other regions.
