1. Online RTI App

People looking to file an RTI can download and use this app. Here, one can file RTI with the help of virtual lawyers and experts who will draft an application on your behalf and send it for approval to the RTI department. One can make changes to the draft before submitting the application.

2. myGOV App

It is an Indian citizen engagement platform which allows a citizen to participate in the governance of India. Launched by the Government of India, this app provides an avenue for channelizing the ideas, comments and creative suggestions by connecting people with central ministries and related government organizations.

3. Narendra Modi App

The official app of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, this app is a one-stop destination for knowing about all the latest day-to-day activities of the Prime Minister. It provides an exclusive and unique opportunity to receive messages and emails directly from the Prime Minister. Not just this, it allows users to contribute and earn badges through to-do tasks.

4. mPassport Seva App

Users can search for nearby Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) or District Passport Cells (DPC) in a district and also search through pin codes. Users can search for police stations too. The app has a fee calculator, which determines the fees to be paid along with the application. There is also the option of tracking application status by providing the file number and date of birth. While people cannot currently apply for a new passport using this app, it provides the detailed steps and the documents required for issuing a new passport or renewing an existing one.

“First app of its kind which would be a ready reckoner for public, for customers, for consumers, traders, students, anyone who wishes to have very handily (GST) rates available. So, if you are in a market, a restaurant or anywhere you can easily check what the (GST) rate is,” CBEC chairperson Vanaja Sarna said.

Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, intended to build a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Startups in the country that will drive sustainableeconomic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. The Government throughthis initiative aims to empower Startups to grow through innovation and design.

It is developed by National Payment Corporation of India and intended to facilitate e–payment directly through the bank accounts. Unlike other digital wallets which hold money in an online wallet, this app is exclusively designed to transfer money directly between different bank accounts.

Developed by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and National e-Governance Division (NeGD), this app brings together all government departments and their services on a single platform to provide better and easier services to citizens. It’s an evolving platform that provides – among other things — Digital India Services like Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and PayGov.

12. Swacch Bharat App

The Swachh Bharat app is the face of Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.<br />
Users can create their profile on the app, but they need to be have an account on Twitter. Only Twitter users can have a user account on the Swachh Bharat App. Users can upload pictures of areas that are intensely polluted and tag the location too.
Also, users can take up challenges to clean a certain area and invite their friends too. Users can then upload the before and after pictures of the area.

Available only for Android devices, the aim of the app is to address threats related to mobile phones. For instance, one can block spam SMS or unsolicited incoming calls. Through the app one can also address malware threats that try to steal personal data and credentials.
